Day 01
Welcome to Istanbul
Meet your airport transfer and settle into your hotel near Taksim. Explore Taksim Square and İstiklal Street, stopping at St Anthony of Padua Church and the Galata waterfront area as timings allow. See Galata Tower from outside, with any paid visit and food purchases at your own expense.
Day 02
Sultanahmet and the Grand Bazaar
Meet your guide or travel assistant for the old city route around Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, German Fountain and obelisk. Visit Topkapi Palace if you choose to buy admission, then browse the Grand Bazaar. Finish around Eminönü, with time to try local food at your own expense.
Day 03
A day on Büyükada
Travel to the harbour and take the ferry to Büyükada. Explore at your own pace, with optional bicycle hire. A short local bus ride and walk towards the hilltop viewpoint can be arranged as part of the agreed route. Return to Istanbul by ferry and transfer to your hotel.
Day 04
Ortaköy, Balat and departure
Visit Ortaköy’s mosque area and market for Bosphorus views, then explore the Spice Bazaar and Balat’s colourful streets. A planned ferry ride is arranged according to the agreed route. Finish with your airport transfer; sightseeing depends on your flight time.
